The School of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences looks for students who possess a combination of qualities like the following:

(1) an interest in food and food consumption, and the environments surrounding these,

(2) passion about solving agri-food related problems such as food safety issues or harmonization with the environment, and

(3) willingness to contribute to the food industry as a citizen of society.
